Last week, my parents adopted a lovely tuxedo cat named Maoki from the Tacoma Humane Society. This is the first time in 15 years since our family owned a cat and she's also our first kitty since living here in America. Naturally, I am one of the official cat sitters when my folks are away on holiday. This also gives me the excuse to visit them, my sister, and the cat, when I have weekends free.

I can't wait to see her in real life! I hear that she's quite a sweet and smart cat.
