The Best Day of 2014: July 19th

This is the BEST day of 2014 because my sister and I finally got the chance to visit a few lavender farms in Port Angeles and Sequim, Washington during the Lavender Festival. It was a wonderful day filled with laughter and great memories along with fragrant lavender I picked myself.

Weekend wanderings: Mercer Slough Nature Park

I took a break from my usual Sunday half-marathon run to explore the Mercer Slough Nature Park. Though it officially starts in two-and-a-half weeks, Spring weather made an appearance just for me.
