I have been busy figuring out what to do with my collection of chunky yarn.

Here's what I came up with: a hat-and-scarf combo that is sure to keep the winter chills away. The four colors above are now available at my shop. More colors are coming soon!

They're back in stock at my ETSY shop and come in a variety of colors. The luxe version is made of heavier alpaca-acrylic blend yarn. As always, the medium-weight acrylic version is available all-year round.

Even though my blog has been quiet for the last few weeks, I was quite busy working on items for my shop. In the age of emails, social media, and text messaging, good old-fashioned mail still endures. Perhaps most of us still appreciate something tangible or tactile coming from someone far away.

New Year, newly listed photographs taken around Seattle

One of my resolutions for 2013 is to add more art photographs of Seattle. I finally finished editing the following prints for my ETSY shop. The prints arrived from the lab today and I am pleased with how they all turned out. Each photograph is now listed and just waiting for loving homes. The photo collages I made below give an idea how they look if purchased as photo sets.

Adventures in Knitting: New designs for Fall and Winter

For the past couple of weeks, I have been staying up late knitting to new neckwarmer designs for fall and winter. At first, it's hard to imagine the finished piece from a ball of yarn. Knitting from scratch is a tedious process but with rewarding results. I love how one can create different textures from a very long piece of string. The finished pieces are now available at my ETSY shop.
