Seattle barely had a winter with snow being a no-show except up in the mountains. I have been running so much and so long that my fall/winter running shoes (which also function as light-weight hiking shoes) are showing signs of wear. To keep this pair intact for the next fall and winter, I decided to get another pair to use for spring and summer running. Like their fall/winter cousins, these shoes offer good traction on different kinds of surfaces and keep water out. I don't mind running into puddles but I sure hate getting my feet wet.
I wore my new shoes out Friday evening for my usual 10k run and no breaking-in was necessary. Earlier today, I wore them for my half-marathon run and the three of us (me and the shoes) survived.
On my walk home, I snapped a few pictures using my phone.
